Performance

We avoid advertising theoretical polar curves calculated by VPP softwares, which give maximal speed in ideal sea conditions, and are generally far above reality.

The table below was compiled on a Spirited 380 in live conditions, at maximum recommended displacement (water level at designed waterline) and with eight crew on board. The performances will be sensibly higher in lightship conditions, with only two to four crew on board.

As is the case with all catamarans designed for performance, the Spirited 380 in maximum displacement conditions has an average speed above average wind speed.
